AIR CON.....HELP

all i can say is you will get good after sales care from gary at polarair.he fixes problems at no cost if possible.friends and myself have had 2 problems and he has sorted and not charged.

If you are concerned then my advice is go with Gary from Polarair.

He fitted ours and he has done a great job. Can't recommend him highly enough

Does anyone know what Gary charges for the 3 bed and how long the warranty is for?

I know that aircon needs to be used frequently so that the rubber seals do not perish and cause the gas to leek out or something like that..... Is there some-one with aircon that is only at their appt every 8-10 weeks, for a week or so at a time?  I am not sure whether or not I will beable to have this installed without numerous costly repairs (due to gas recharge) and servicing or risk legionnaires disease.  Does anyone know the ongoing servicing charges involved with these units and how often this needs to be?

Another testimoney for Gary & Polarair here. We have just had the air-con installed last week and I am well satisfied with the product & service provided. We are also a 3 bedroom and have a multi-split system with 2 units outside (just posted a photo on forum 01/12/2008 to give a perspective of neat installation) and 3 inside. The unit in the living area is more than capable of cooling/heating the third bedroom so we do not require one in that bedroom. We are going for fan lights in each of the 3 bedrooms which will mean we only use the air-con when it get's too warm through the night for the fan to cope. Had no cause to use air-con last week, but certainly needed to test out the heating side and it warms up the place quickly no problem. Gary never mentioned anything about having to run regularly to protect seals etc and I'm sure he knows most of us will not be living there full time.

Price at the time of the offer for this combination was 2499 euros which I found pretty competetive. I think you may get cheaper but beware ofthe standard of workmanship and inferior units.
