It would appear that Huma laid off a number of employees last Friday (the 19th).

I am told that all the job losses were in the refunds and customer care departments due to a lack of work ..!

Sorry i couldnt resist that one, hope next year brings us all the refunds that we deserve, all the very best for next year.

oh yes, it was only 1 job i believe,, and that was only part time,,4 hours a week,,and for the last couple of years it was spent on house plants..

I'm in the same situation as you Les.......requested Aldea to execute my BG last May....Numerous e-mails ,letters, phone calls but lately responses have dried up.

Will write to Bank myself next, then if necessary change solicitors & sue Aldea. and Bank if necessary.

Not sure if that will succeed either but I will take whatever action is necessary to revcover funds at least covered by BG

oh my god avoided looking at this sight ,didnt want to remind myself what a bloody mess we are in,but hey ho,here i am,we are  victims of terrible people, who rob us and still sleep at night,

maybe 2009 we will see some results, although gut feelings say otherwise.

i wish all a great new year eve, ready to face another battle getting refunds, for us we gonna get drunk and forget for a few hours.

best wishes everyone.
