I think that people are missing the point here Freesat is a free service and it even  says on their own website, www.freesat.co.uk that reception is available outside of the UK

If there was a requirement to pay for the service this is not a problem, happy to do this

People also forget that you can get, for €30 a Spanish TDT box, which is the Spanish equilivent of Freeview, this will give you, with an aerial costing around €35, digital TV and , on TVE1 on Saturday afternoons, live premiership football

Also on the remote you will find a language button which, will switch the language to English if being broadcasted and this happens on a lot of films

Be carefull as people are doing the rounds charging €200 - €300 to supply and fit these where the materials cost less than €80

There should be a distribution point for TV on the roof plus the builder is legally equired to provide you with Spanish TV broadcasts

For more information on slingbox look at the digital TV forum but feedback is that it is costly and ureliable and if you have internet you are better using one of the Torrent download sites

On the subject of Spanish TV If you bought your TV in the last year or so and it is a digital tv it is probably able to take take the digital signal without a box of anykind with just an ariel or if you are lucky just by plugging into the socket provided in your house. We did this as did many others here on SG before we got Telesat and got lots of digital Spanish TV including regular broadcasts of soccer which is what all you guys and some girls out there seem to be interested in also there is a Sony channel which plays English language programmes mostly during the evening hours.  The up side to watching Spanish language programming particularly the news helps to tune your ear to the language v. helpful if you are trying to learn the language.
Also we still aren't getting the Sky or Setanta sport but if you look at the Teledeporte or TVE2 Ron has watched live Engllsh matches all season!

It would seem that you are using this site as some sort of pissing contest which you are deternined to win.  The reason to anyone with half a brain is clear.  

*Every time you launch a long winded and, of late, vitriolic thread or response to a thread it puts you and your business at the  top of that thread.  
*Additionally you choose topics which are likely to have the most universal interest in order to maximise your coverage. 
*You also put threads and responses to a number of different development forums for the same purpose. 
*You create full screen responses which prevent the viewer from intitially seeing any previouse response on this thread.    
*You go on to make them extremely tedious which has the added advantage of giving the viewer no interest in reading  further in case they fall asleep with sheer boredom!

It may interest you to know that you will always be the winner of this particular pissing contest as, being a retired woman resident of SG, I have neither the testosterone fueled ego or the necessary equipment to engage you further.
