Increase of deed price

Hi
Has anyone purchasing a property built by Vegaelx, been asked to pay extra just before completion?
For me, the reason given is an increase in the deed price of the property!

We are due to complete anytime on our Lux apartment in Almoradi, bit nervous with the current credit situation, maybe we might not get the mortgage, or afford it.
Does anyone know who has bought through Vegaelx if the contract states you are unable to sell before completion without losing the deposit? 
Our deposit was all our savings & are now concerned we can't get a mortgage but can't lose the deposit either...
I have read the contract over & over & thought there was nothing to say we couldn't put it up for sale, but have since been told that we have to complete or lose the deposit.
Please if anyone can help I would be so grateful.

Dear Sarah,

we obtained a euro mortgage last year through a broker called mortgages4you, based in the UK. It might be worth contacting them to see f they can help. They obtained a mortgage for us which would have been extremely difficult for us to obtain through the usual channels, as my husband is self employed and our UK mortgage is already solely in my name for the same reason. They do charge a fee, but that imight be better than losing your deposit.

Almoradi is a lovely town and I'm sure you will enjoy your apartment.
