Haven't been on for ages, so sorry if I ramble on for a bit!
Well, went to Almoradi for 2 weeks there at the end of May and it was great, weather fantastic food great and stayed at Luz which was great as well, so no complaints there!
Met Bill & Carol before we went who were lovely and over there met Chris and Dave, hi there both of you, we had a great chat and hope we'll maybe meet again if our dates match up and had a drink with them on their last night, who were also a lovely couple.
Noticed someone mentioned 'Que Pasa' for a meal on another thread..that was the worst meal we had, overpriced and a very small portion, do not think i would eat there again...they're not doing their Menu del Dia just now which was still on show and priced at 8 euros, as they said people thought it too hot and couldn't be bothered with all those courses, ....well you're paying about the same now for one course, maybe a euro less and I was sick on the way home the next day and for a couple of days after that too...maybe coincidence, but we didn't enjoy it at all.
Best value we found was San Remo and they would even serve you for instance one portion of pasta (which was lots byt he way!) and one large pizza and give you 4 plates to share if you wanted just a quick lunch...that was only about 12 euros (plus drinks) and all their pastas, pizzas and steaks were delicious, steaks came in about 12 euros but better than paying 8 or 9 at Que Pasa for half the portion, and I think their steaks were a lot more expensive.
Anyway, that's all for now, don't think I'll be back over until next July (2008) when hopefully I'll be in my own apartment.
