Opticians in Spain

Photo's now loaded on (two at a time worked). Just posted views of cafe/bar at the sports area and Puerto de Mazarron as there are plenty photo's of gardens already. Marina area in Mazarron is very nice - had a lot of money spent recently to bring it up to date and newly completed retail units are running along the quayside. Hopefully these will be taken up in time for the start of the season next year and the place will have a look of Puerto Banuus about it.

We missed this bit , in Feb, of puerto de mazarron and just found a beach which was great, but no coffee!

When you go into Puerto de Mazarron from Condado the new marina area is to the left as you sort of hit the town centre. The beach here has nice outloook and clear water but more of a 'sandy soil' which is a bit crunchy underfoot. This is the beach that has the best pavement cafe facilities though ,and the one featured in my photo's. To the right as you go into town is another beach but I think this has a scruffy appearance with run-down buildings fronting it. You should bypass this and drive another 500 yards or so and you will come to a nice sandy beach within nice bay and waves rolling in. There are a couple of beachside cafe huts for refreshments. Further on again you will come to Buelnovo which has a superb fine sandy beach and this is the area I thought Polaris would ear-mark for a beach club for our resort once it has built up - I certainly hope so, it could be a really nice place with a little bit of an up-date and some funds invested into it.

Thanks Bilbo great photo's!  Nice to see the grass in Jardine 8 slowly getting greener since I saw it back in July and the swimming pool looks fab!  Has anyone been in the swimming pool yet?  Is it cold or is just right?

I must admit it is lovely to have Mazarron so close to us, it is a lovely place.

      Agree with you about Bolnuevo beach, it's lovely and if Polaris did make this our beach club it would be great, this beach is right by the erosions and easy to get to from Condado. Will, did you park in the underground car park in Puerto de Mazarron?
