Could anybody please tell me how many keys you actually get for the apartment?
How do you obtain extra keys? From what I remember they were quite unusual

Just a thought as a precaution that with so many keys available, and so many construction workers on site. May be advisable to have the locks changed. If someone is sitting with a copy of your key, they just have to wait till you furnish your apartment. Like I said its just a thought as a precaution. Chances are nothing will happen. Thats just the way we innocent scousers (of which there are many) have to think.

Somebody recommended on an earlier thread swapping locks with someone from a different Jardin, which is a good idea I think, that way any keys for your apartment if they exist will only fit some other unknown apartment and likewise for the one you swapped with.

Thats a brilliant idea and cost effective, Can just imagine all standing round swapping keys ....Hmmmm lets be careful about this one dont want to give the locals the wrong idea lol

Just got our keys in the post from solicitor. I've seen smaller cell keys!!!
As for throwing the keys into a coffee jar you had better make it more the size of a dustbin so they can fit.
On a more serious note we are out in September and part of our furniture package is a lock change.
So our exisiting lock and 4 sets of keys will be spare if anyone wants to change for them let me know.

It would be handy to have these locks to change with others I would be prepared to swap locks for people for free when I am out their after my completion but I don’t complete until late September. If anyone else is able to offer same or similar we could work it between us?
Who are you getting your furniture pack from that is including lock change?

Sorry for changing the subject slightly but thought I'd use the 'Apartment Keys' thread... for those that have completed by POA, how have you got hold of your keys?? I assumed our solicitors would have them but they've been ignoring my emails for the past week, so will have to try ringing on Monday. My dad is out next week and is planning on picking them up for us on Tues providing we can track them down.
We're having our lights fitted on Wed and have emailed Polaris Customer Services to see if they can release key in case my dad doesn't manage to get from solicitors but still waiting reply so starting to panic neither my dad or electrician will be able to get in!!

Our solicitors completed via POA on our behalf and were given the keys by Polaris World. They did not want to hold the keys, and as they are closed for their holidays when we next travel to Spain later this month they couriered the keys to us in the UK which of course they charged us for,

I am sure there will be plenty of owners that wish to swap keys for the purpose of 'Lock Changing' good luck with your completion . I wouldnt call it the 'angelbabe' party its just a get together for peeps to meet ... Ice breaker so to speak and you are welcome to join us
