Any news if its positive or negative are welcome to this board.
My intensions are to rather describe "a half full glas" than "a half empty glas".

Brian
Just got an idea:

While you're down in Spain -  lobbying around  -  Could you try to make a list  of some more e-mail adresses to the politicians, etc

Maybe even phone numbers to some contact persons within the board that speaks english...maybe public affair spokesman, Newpaper guys, TV reporters or something

If you are in the position I hope that you could speak on behalf of all of us - we will back you.

But always remember Al Capones words:  You reach further with a smile and a gun   -    than just a gun

OGO

Great idea, unfortunatly I am there on holiday with my little spitting cobra and if I was to try to explain to her that I needed to gather phone numbers/email addresses etc etc etc she would cut my bits off hang them round my neck, so nice idea and if I thought for one moment that I could get away with it if would (but as I am a coward) no chance.

Will do my best (but dont tell the wife) I will be visiting TH while I am there but probably only for a few hours .

Like I said earlier the information I would like is when the other politician apart from the Mayor will be cleared to vote??????

regards
Brian

Hi all I have now returned from Spain, and have almost nothing to report only the things you probably know already which are no final licence has been approved apparently some of the people concerned with the council meeting did not turn up, the work force has been sent home no work was being done on site this is because if they work and the guardia civil turn up it will mean even more delays, just the same bases to houses have been built and left. As a note about other developments other sites are suffering too but mainly as they have no new buyers so those who have already bought will find that work is about to stop on their development leaving them living or owning a property on a buildind site with no facilities.

Hi all,
I've just this morning recieved the message below from Jane. It doesn't really tell us too much but we live in hope!

Hi there Richard

I do understand that the message boards are very important to some people and we respect that but for my part I can only say that in reality nobody can say that they know exactly the situation as it is a very unpredictable situation so really nobody can claim to have specialist informaton on this good or bad Richard. We just hope that people can respect, like yourself, that we also have friends and family who have bought and we are also asking the same questions day in and day out, although some peole refuse to acknowledge this and would like to say that we are in fact lying...which we have seen noted on those message boards in the past.I think that those words come from a very flippant place as I said we are all in the same boat. This is why we dnot always look at those meesage boards as some of the comments are quite flippant........however , as mentioned, we respect those that do as once in a while there are also some very constructive people using those sites.

For my part I can say that yes, in theory we should have known something by now in-regards to the license but frustratingly still nothing yet.........we really could do with something......the status of communications are.very up and down as the mayor is doing his darndest to hold on to his 40.000€ a year job and not have any implications made to him and therefore looks like he wont even think about voting until he feels that he will not be implicated for dealing with us in the past. Therefore if he waits till october, November time to vote then it would mean that 2 years had past since he traded with Trampolin and therefore nobody could implicate him anymore. His manner is causing extreme suffering to thousands and obviously has to be solutioned as if not the council has been told that they would have to re-inburst those buyers.  I myself have been advising people lately, that all would be solutioned by October/ november time,  inorder to cushion the hopes of everyone that are thinking that it will be asap...just in case.....however as the situation is very unpredictable we could know more this month....

Also this week in the Town Hall we are expecting a new secretary and once he takes position of his new duties as usual he will also take over the situation of our project. We expect to hear some news in the next 2 weeks in regards to this but as you know each process in the Town hall takes its own time and therefore we have to hold on as the law requires Richard as I hope you can understand we can only do.

I hope that you yourself Richard can apreciate that we can only give you the information we have but if not, then we also respect that also

.Many thanks

Jane

Well it's some sort of news but not great am sure we all agree.

Just one thought

If it is the intention of the Major to vote in favour of the project thereby letting it get built and he is simply sitting on it until the 2 years is up you would think under the circumstances it should be possible for the time element to be waived by one level of the government or another.

Frankly whether he votes in favour now or in October/November (when he's clear of the 2 years restriction) only affects us poor people, the community and jobs creation who all have to wait, no one else.

Does anyone have a clue whether such a waiver is feasible. Or perhaps that's what Trampolin Hills have been trying to get agreed

Richard and all. thanks for posting this - unpleasant maybe, but realistic I think - message from Jane.

Just one question: Who is Jane? She works in grupo trampolin?

I guess also that a 'waiver deal' could be a way forward - or maybe the mayor could give a sort of 'power of attourney' to someone to vote on his behalf in this spesific case, but I guess that we need a lifetime experience in Spanish law to give some advse here, and yet it is up to the mayor to decide if he is willing to face the coming accusations in court from the oposition...or if he (personally) is better off to wait until November...

Maybe we should find his house and car...LOL :-)

Does anyone have more info of the second board member? when is he free from his inhability?

Summer greetings from OGO

Hi to All Trampers and Dreamers,

Just got back from Spain, I know it's sad that the first thing I do is blog on EOS.
Visited TH last week and was told in the office exactly the same as what Jane has said. Hmmm! I wonder? The good news is I did see them digging more footings for the foundations, so that's looking promising.

I was told they should start work on Royal Dreams at the end of the Summer. I think that should be in September.
Although I wasn't expecting to see any change, you cannot help but feel a little disappointed. eg, The show homes at Royal Dreams - it would have been nice to see them all finished off with the gardens landscaped and the boundary walls built.

I also hope  that WHEN the project finally gets the go ahead at TH they don't take any short cuts with the landscaping of the golf course and surrounding green areas around  the Villas and Apartments.

I am back out in 6 weeks  and I am not expecting to see any changes. Maybe by Christmas I will!!!!

Regards

Worcester
