Sunday, January 9, 2011

We know how much you like to keep on top of the weather in Spain and we've not done a very good job in providing this information...until now.

When you visit your community home page you'll now find a new tab called "Weather".  If you click that you'll see the current weather in the location of your community and also a three day forecast.

Weather in your community in Spain

I hope you find this useful.

As this depends on us having the correct location for your community, if it's not the exact location then please leave a comment below and tell us what the location of your community should be and we'll get it changed for you.

As always, any problems, just shout!

A Reyes present from Costaluz Lawyers - British in Iberia ebook
Wednesday, January 5, 2011

British in Iberia ebookAs it's "Los Reyes", which is the day when the Three Kings deliver presents to all the childen in Spain, we've got something special for you today.

Maria de Castro of Costaluz Lawyers recently sent out to all of her clients a fascinating ebook which they complied called "British in Iberia".

I was so impressed when I read it and then incredibly delighted when allowed to offer to EOS members as a FREE download!

Taken from the ebook itself, here's what it's all about...

"We are pleased to bring you this year, as our holidays Present,
this e-book containing some, of perhaps hundreds of stories
that narrates episodes in which people from the United
Kingdom, Ireland and the United States have played an
important role in the development of Spanish History.

Did you know that Garcia Lorca was born and dwelled in an
Estate that belonged to the Duke of Wellington? That Mercedes
Gleitz was the first of us all to swim across the Strait of
Gibraltar? Or that direct trade between Seville and England
dates back to the 14th century?

We hope you enjoy the above stories and this whole piece of
work written by a member of our team, Jesús de Castro and
kindly translated by Rachel Harrison, which recounts the
long imbrications among our countries and people, and for
which we look forward to its perpetuation over time to come,
with you among the protagonists."

If you love a bit of history and insight then you must download and read this ebook.

The best thing to do is right-click the link below and select "Save target as..." or "Save link as..." and save the ebook to your PC.  It's in PDF format.

Right-click here and download the ebook

We hope you enjoy it.

Thanks again to Maria de Castro of Costaluz Lawyers for letting us offer this as a gift to our members.

Happy Reyes!
