Help in Time of Need
| The Comments |
I have just come back from a week on the Costa Blanca with my in-laws. They had a great time even though they are both in their 70’s and are not in the best of health. Both of them struggle when it comes to walking any great distance (over 100 yds) but we managed to go the length of Torrevieja pier, most of the way down the prom at San Pedro, by the mud flats and generally get about.
So how did we manage to show the in-laws all these wonderful sights in and around the Costa? It was all made possible with the help of “The HELP Association of Vega Baja”, a wonderful organisation based in San Miguel de Salinas. They hire out all sorts of equipment for those who need extra help with mobility and other problems that come with age.
I can’t praise them enough; they were there in our hour of need and made two elderly people able to enjoy a long deserved holiday.
Thank you The HELP Association.
If you too need help have a look at their website; www.helpvegabaja.com
