HOLIDAY LETS

Is there a set percentage of a holiday let rent that a company will charge, If they advertise and clean and laundry  your apartment, or do they charge commision on the rent on a weekly basis if occupied or not? Don't know what the procedures are as never tried this before. My place is in Costa del Sol. Can anyone put me on the right tracks?

We take a 15% commission on any bookings we make. If you get bookings from other sources we do not earn anything.(some companies do take money whether they get the booking or not so you would need to check what different company policies are).

The other services like cleaning are priced according to the size of the property etc. Usually, for a normal 2 bed apartment it is €50 plus €5 per bed that needs laundering.

No one should be charging you anything if the place is empty unless you chose to pay a company to property manage for you,in which case there will be a set monthly/annual charge and they will look after the property for you.
