Renovating

Hi
I have only posted once before. I find the site very interesting and informative.
We are in the process of buying a cortijo near Velez Rubio in Almeria . We are looking to renovate it, and turning it in to guest house.
I have been sarching the forums for others who may have brought a old cortijo or finca and have done renovation on it , but have find none. It would be interesting to hear from others that have done this.
