Air con units

Has anyone got any experience from using portable air on units? If so be interested in what their thoughts were on them i.e. Ease of use, worth it etc plus is there anywhere that hire them out so you could try before you buy?

Hi Kevin
There were portable aircon units in an office where I used to work and they were on all day, every day. I have to admit they worked fine. They don't work very well in big spaces though. But if you have a small room and don't want to install a normal unit they will do the job, only you will have to keep emptying the water when it fills up or run a tube to a drain... buy one with a decent deposit.
