Aircon Servicing costs

Hi All, we need to have our air con units serviced, and wondered what sort of costs to budget for?

We have 3 external roof units that feed 3 internal zones - it's a ducted system using Panasonic units. They are only about 15 months old, but are due a service. The guy that put them in is going to come later in the week, but we wanted to have an idea of what to expect - from the experiences of others.

Hi Knj, yes it does, it still uses the external fans and internal units, it's just pumped through the house via a series of hidden ducts.

We have Panasonic units, they are 7 years old. They have never been serviced, but we do clean the internal filters every quarter, and I check the outside units visually. I asked an electrician who was doing some work for me a couple of years ago, and he said as long as the temperature was okay, they were fine. He told me to use a temperature probe, to make sure the temperature of the air being pumped ( when they first start) was as set, and if so, then they were fine, and didn't need anything.we use them all winter for heating, and during July)/August for cooling.
