This is a long shot - a very long shot - but I'm looking for a couple named Roger and Sandy (Sandra) who used to keep a public house called the King William IV, aka the King Billy, at Kirksanton in Cumbria. Roger and I worked for the same organisation and I often stayed with them at the King Billy when I was in Cumbria.
They sold up and came to Spain in the late 1990s to, possibly, the Costa Blanca area, where Roger could pursue his love of golf!
As I have now retired to Spain myself I would like to try to find them and renew our aquaintance again.
So, if anyone out there knows of a Roger and Sandy, former Cumbrian publicans, I would be most obliged if you could please pass on my message or get in touch.
