Ryanair opened a new route Edinburgh - Murcia few weeks ago and suddenly today he cancelled the route, along with 5 others. Leaving every one who has booked flights on the route stranded. What a scumbag Michael O'Leary is.
Obviously he has fallen out with the airport operator and is now holding travellers to ransom. Whats the point in booking in advance with Ryanair if they just cancel flights/routes willy nilly.
Their small print says they will take you to a different destination if the route is cancelled (what kind of drugs are they on) or give you a refund in a few weeks time once you have completed their refund form. I feel really sorry for any families that have booked flights and then booked accomodation for holidays only to be ruined by Michael O'Leary - what a scumbag. In days gone by he would be called a gangster - holding people to ransom.
Maybe his blackmail tricks will work and the airport operators will bow to his demands, thankfully there are other airline companies out there to book flights with.
Have you noticed his website has a dedicated phone number (cost 5p per minute) just to complain about his premium rate complaints phone number.
