I know it will be hard that is why I am asking for advice. Also I am dyslexic and I could not see the spell cheak option.

I am obviously going to show my letter, in Spainish, I am sending to possible employers to my Spainish teacher first. Lastly, some adive for you! You should not reply to a post if you have nothing useful to say

Hi Nicola - finding work is hard here and the unemployment figures are pretty scary.

However, if you are just looking for summer work and have a good grasp of Spanish, then you should be able to find work in a bar or restaurant in most of the coastal resorts.  Here in the southern Costa Blanca, around Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa, we have lots of bars and restaurants who take on people for the summer, but be prepared to work long hours without a contract.

Best of luck!

Here on the Costa Del Sol bars and restaurants take on staff just before easter but they often find staff by putting up a notice outside and jobs are not even put in the local press

good luck

Hi Nicola

Good for you.

Check out Sur in English.  I went to post the link but it does not allow me to do so.  So google Sur in English, go to the classifieds section and you will see it says recruitment and then situations vacant / situations wanted.

This is an English speaking newspaper available along the Costa del Sol.  They will start posting adverts for summer in the coming months so worth checking on a regular basis.

It is a fabulous place to live and work but of course it is pretty hard going in summer.  Long hours with little time to enjoy the sunshine.

One piece of advice I would like to share is that you really should do your research, do not send money to anyone to look for work for you and make sure you have somewhere to stay.

Best of luck and hope to bump into you in the summer!

Debbie
