help needed

 Hi

A friend and I are both thinking of moving to Benidorm from the UK in the new year for a couple of years or longer (while were both still young enough to do it!) and could do with some help as we don't really know anyone over there - we are both in our late 20s and will be looking for bar/hotel work:

• How best is it to approach finding work - we will both have enough money to see us by for a few months - are there jobs in the Benidorm/Benidorm town area?
• How much does rental property cost and would we be better off travelling over and staying in a hotel until we find somewhere?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whoa Stephen....Spain and work do not go together at the moment.

Bar work is very seasonal so you're really only looking July/ August time for that.  There are obviously bars open during the rest of the year but all those without work after the summer are then looking for jobs again for a more permanent income.  So there will always be a lot of competition for bar jobs.

I really can't be any more positive than that

It's really tough out here work wise at the moment so you need to have something lined up or a few fall-back plans as there just aren't any guarantees.
