Please allow me to introduce The Retreat – Alicante, our addictions recovery centre, based in the countryside of Aspe, Alicante.
We are a small team of addictions professionals who have come together to provide this urgently needed facility for English-speaking clients who are showing signs of addiction to Alcohol and/or Drugs.
Our 5 bed centre opened this year and we have already had some great successes with clients who have been treated here at The Retreat. We hold qualifications recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and hold post graduate diplomas in counselling.
Our experience in the UK has been in both formal and informal settings. We have worked in psychiatric units of local hospitals in the South East of the UK as well as several Prisons throughout the UK with clients with both drug and alcohol problems. Our client groups have consisted of young people from the age of 11 showing signs of alcohol misuse, through to adults of retirement age. We have over 20 years experience of working in this field.
We offer a 12 Step Addictions Treatment Programme which has a worldwide recognised success and is used in many treatment centres throughout the world. It is most effective when used in conjunction with medical supervision, counselling and one to one therapies all designed specifically to compliment each other and to achieve the highest probability of success.
We would like to work with you and offer you a truly effective and affordable solution to addiction problems. We already work closely with many healthcare professionals who refer patients to us here in Spain and from the UK.
