buying spanish car and selling uk car in Nueva Andalucua

I have taken the advice on this forum and decided that I will be better off with a Spanish registered car for my house in Spain so ..............

I want to buy something like a diesel Astra/Focus estate or hatchback  for about €3000 and want to sell a RHD UK plated Fiesta with about 49000 miles on the clock for about €800.  Any ideas out there?

I would also like some advice. If I buy a car privately, what are the procedures and what are the pitfalls? Also, I understand that the ITV is the equivalent to the UK MOT - is there an equivalent to the Road Tax?

 There are a number of procedures and considerations that you need to be aware of here, and if corners are cut somewhere then problems can come back on you further down the line.
