Hi,

I have a complete NEW  Visonic powermax  wireless alarm system surplus to requirements if anyone is interested, it comprises:

1 x Control panel, "Powermax Plus"
1 x Control Panel power supply unit
2 x smoke detectors

1 x carbon monoxide detector

1 x breaking glass detector

2 x Key fob's
5 x PIR's (intruder detectors)
2 x Door contacts
2 x External Wireless Bell box c/w LED Strobe Light.
1 x User Manual (English)
1 x Programming Manual (English)
Included, are all the detectors Lithium Batteries

The alarm panel included in the pack is highly sophisticated and can have up to 28 wireless detection devices enrolled to it as well as up to 8 keyfobs.

Also the panel has advanced communications including on board dialler and support for the X10 protocol. The dialler can phone up to 4 pre-programmed numbers including mobile lines. Any of these numbers can contact the panel and query it's status, or communicate with someone in the property through the panel's onboard duplex, hands-free speakerphone.

Suitable for DIY installation, no wiring!! Very similar to the package available from Roda for 1,500 Euros.

500 Euros OVNO. Please PM me for more info.

Mike

Out of curiosity how do these wireless systems perform in Spanish buildings?

I can't even get routers (Netgear) to work without using repeaters/extenders.

The combination of steel and concrete kills the signal or significanly reduces the quality.

I don't have a problem with  wireless internet in my Spanish villa, Reception is fine in all rooms & garden, I suppose the alarm system will be similar.

In old buildings steel was not used which meant in any three/four storey buildings supporting walls being almost 3 foot thick.

If you have one of these buildings it's a nightmare to get wireless signals around.
