ANY MORE NEWS ON THE POOL WE ARE COMING OUT END OF JUNE AND WE ARE HOPING IT WILL BE IN OPERATION.   NORRIE.

We were there last week and were told that they are waiting for 1 more engineers report to come back. If that one comes back ok then they will start to put it right immediately. 
We've booked to go again for a few days in June and to be honest i don't think its going to be ready for then. It all looks like a building sight again, also lifts aren't working yet .
We thought that there still seemed to be quite a lot of other work to be finished but only a few men working there!

We are still looking forward to going back there though

Anyone heard any more about the pool? We are going over for a week, from Friday, so wll get some updates unless anyone else has heard?

OK, my sister is over there at the moment. She says they have start filling in the massive holes they dug with concrete and putting piling in. Apparently it should be done by the end of the month.

Just got back, they still say pool will be complete by the end of the month, although it looks like it will be a couple of months or more to us with only one man working on it while another looks over the golf course.
Still on generator, lifts, electric gates, alarms, not working yet, everywhere still looks a bit of a mess, perhaps all will be finished by the end of the year if we are lucky.
Quality of workmanship everywhere could be better.
No probs with our apartment apart from the above.
Sure Superdon will add to this when he gets back.
Still with all that said very much looking forward to returning at end of month, and the weather out there is fantastic.

With regard to the photographs I have uploaded, all the major work on the pool has now been done and only the cosmetic details remain to be finished. However once they refill the pool that may be another story but let's hope that everthing will be alright.

With regard to the electricity supply, the lifts and gates etc are not working because at this moment they are using a generator and if it broke down people coluld be stuck the the lift for hours and the same with the gates you could neither get your car in or out of the complex.

Going back on the 1st July and will update you on the progress on my return.

Nelsonian - its actually improved quote a bit more since the photos. When we left on Friday, the concrete refill was back level with the pool edge, ready for the tiling to go back down. They had to re-dig a few trenches to put the cables back in. But, I was actually quite surprised how much got done the end of last week. Although, it is quite amusing watching a man on a roller truck, with three men watching him all day.

Richlucy - I agree in part about the workmanship, but hopefully things will get tidied up over time. We were told by our builder that the overall quality of finish was actually very good for Spain. It will be much better when the pools finished, the communal lighting/lifts/garages etc are up and running.

Another update - the slabs are going back down as of end of last week. They were also working on it Saturday. So, it looks like there is a big push to get it sorted.
