With Ref to ADH

Hi All

We had an email today from Medsea Estates telling us the completion date is looking like the end of March as the builders  are  still awaiting the final approval from the Town Hall.

If anyone has had a valuation on a 1 bed apartment can you let me know as we are still waiting for ours.

The last time we viewed the development was mid December . Everything was looking really good. The only problem we saw in our apartment was that they had only put one plug socket on the appliance side in the kitchen and the other two were on the wall by the light switch. When we asked Denbeigh if these could be moved to the opposite wall for the kettle / toaster etc he said we would have to pay for this to be done ourselves  after completion.This we weren't happy about as it was obvious they had been put on the wrong wall. He said he would ask the builder for us but i'm not holding my breath!

Ah March now eh? A pattern is now appearing methinks.  From what I am hearing,  I wouldnt be surprised it it were summer now at the earliest,.

Would be great to hear if you get any response to your request for details on any valuations. As you might have read, we are in a bit of a situation at the moment in that our apartment (2 bed) has been under valued and therefore we are unable to get the mortgage we need and having to find several thousand more Euros that we thought.

The people on various forums that claim to have had better valuations will not give any more details (which makes me suspicious) and the developers/promoters/agents are not willing to help.

So, all in all, getting very frustrating here, and more and more expensive each day.
