Teletec v Europa whos best?

Hi all,

           we are going over tomorrow to get all the little bits and bobs for the apartment. Has anyone got any recomendations of shops that do t.v.'s, hi-fi's, vacuums etc ? If you have can you provide the rough location.

Your help would be appreciated.

Paul there is a Master Cadena at El Mirador (Next town down from Sucina) & there is one in Dos Mares shopping centre just outside San Javier. You can download the current deals on their website : http://www.tiendamaster.es/Articulos.asp

Also there is Media Markt ( Spanish Curry's) at Neuvo Condo shopping park which is on the outskirts of Murcia. I got a 32" Sony Bravia for E550, last month, and that was cheap compared to the others. Also nearby is Ikea & Leroy Merlin (Spanish B&Q) plus Eroski Supermarket.

All electrical retailers will deliver if you give them time however they may not be open on sundays (Masters at dos mares in though, although the place will be rammed with locals on a day out, best go on a weekday morning!!).

We got ours mostly from Carrefour in Cartegena (had no trouble with our credit card there and they delivered the washing machine free of charge) and Eroski in Dos Mares (opens on Sundays but a pig to put our credit card through and ended up paying cash) , got the TV from Media Markt in Cartegena and our fridge/freezer from Electro Sucina just before the traffic lights.   Our local electrical store in Sucina are so accomodating.  They must have heard Pete say he will change the door opening on the fridge/freezer once we get it and they kindly told us when they delivered it that they had changed the door opening for us already.    Must say the whole shopping experience was quite enjoyable.

We need a dishwasher next time out. Will try Electro Sucina as i only visted him after i had bought everything to get a change of Apartment door lock from him.

He seemed very helpful & they had a fair stock of everything.
