I  too have bought on this development and have had no end of arguments with the developer as it should have been completed dec o7, we were told today by christian that they dont know when it will be finished they are still fitting kitchens in block 3 we have bought in block 14. The enjoyment has now gone out of buying the appartment ,as anyone got any possitive news ?

i have spoken to christian today and blocks 1-3 will have there kitchens completed by end of the month as the workers are back on site now !!   Regarding block 14 i have confirmed 2 apartments will be done also as urgent. if i can help anyone in any other way please let me know.

We are buying in block 7. Do you have any information on that? We had foolishly booked flights next weekend to complete some time ago !!! Christian emailed  on 19 June to say he "would have news" at the end of this week but we have heard nothing yet and suspect the news wil be "no news"!!!! 

We find it incredible they don't want our money. Promaga must be losing  a significant amount in lost interest by the delayed completion. it is also frustrating that if the problem is caused by the insolvency of the building contractor Promaga have not been more upfront about this and kept us informed.

We went out in April and the pool was receiving no maintenance (it had gone green with algae). Have the common parts been looked after. Has anybody been to site recently?

Are you buying in block 7 or block 1 that you referred to back in January on Snagging Thread??

We are in block 7 which is at the "lower end"  . When we went in April all was completed and most snagging had been done EXCEPT no kitchen of course.

Does anyone know if we will be compensated as we have lost a season of use. The contract states that the developer has 4 months after dec 07 to complete, this as not happened and how as an habitation licence been granted when no kitchens are fitted.

Not sure about block 7, however i will be speaking to christian again this week so will ask him also, when i was down there in may the pool was cleanish !!!! (but far from perfect). will post update asap.

We were told by Christian on Friday that Block 7 kitchens should be installed within  3 weeks (the elecrical appliances are already installed) and then we can complete. However this was not without Promaga telling our lawyer they were ready to complete!

we were told the same for block 14 as they dont work in august think this is just another farce to get them off there backs for another 3 weeks.

i suspect there is no claim against promaga, any action would be against the issuer of the habitation lcence

Just to let you all know that after much chasing we now have our kitchen fitted and some (not all) the initial snagging issues satisfied. Of course as you would expect there are some new snagging issues with the kitchen, like damaged fridge door, drawer fronts loose etc....which continues to be a frustration.

That said we have decided to complete (last Friday) and agreed that €10k of the monies are held back at the Notary until the kitchen snags are fully corrected and certified.

We are at last after 3 years in the waiting, owners of our apartment in Spain!!

Now we just need to get the rest of you over the line so we can set up the community group and get the facilities (swimming pool, gardens etc) serviced.

We are out there again for 2 weeks from 21 July so may see some you there.

well at least someone got there in the end what block have u bought in hope all goes well for you from now on maybe we will meet up one day when? we complete.

We have also managed to sign the contract this week although there were some remaining snags which we hope to sort out when we are over in July.

Does anyone know when Phase 2 of Jardines del mar completes? I sense from recent conversations that there are delays and problems...

All i can say is when it happens it happens we have now lost all interest as have many others it will just be a miracle when.There are no end of excuses whenever we get in touch we are in block 14 and are expecting to complete soon but we dont hold our breath.

mmm its pretty much same story I'm getting.... supposed to be Dec09 for me  - Block2. Have they even started building yet?

I believe that phase 2 may not go ahead for a number of years now, although I would contact Promaga directly to confirm this. They have moved some of the people from phase 2 onto the unsold phase 1 apartments

We have just received an email from this lady at Promaga kristina.lastockina - saying our kitchen is now being installed which suggests we could complete in the next few weeks. We are in Block 7 of Phase 1.
