Internal Cleaning Services

Joan and Nancy permenent residents of Jardines Del Mar are offering you the following service.

Holding the keys for your property in a locked and secure place €12.50 per month.

A weekly visit to check your property when vacant, with follow up E-mail.

Making appointments for and accompanying any tradesmen to the property for any maintenance/repairs which may be required for a maximum of one visit per item for up to 1 hour, subsequent hours/visits charged at €12.50

A 24/7 callout service for any emergencies, which might arise whilst you or your guests are using the property.

Complimentary meet and greet service and key collection service at the end of the stay between the hours of 8.30 and 11.30. Any meet and greet or key collection out of hours will be charged at €20.

Cleaning of apartments when residents require will be €12.50 per hour

External cleaninig of shutters will be extra.

Once the property has become vacant – bins and fridges emptied and cleaned and fridges turned off if the property is to remain empty for any lenght of time.

Linen changed and taken to the laundrette at a charge of €15 per bedroom.(please supply minimum of 2 sets per bedroom)

Welcome packs available on request.

There are 2 types Basic at €20 . Luxury at €40 .

Being that we are residents of this community we can assit 24/7 with any problems that might arise.

Good luck with the moving in and welcome to the community.

We are in Block 14 (completed in May) and we did arrange for water to be connected through our solicitors although this was not done until August when the full mains were connected and certificates obtained by Promaga for the development - our lawyers sorted out the formailities with Manilva water board. All apartments are serviced by water and electricity on the developers supply until you switch over.

Electricity certificates/sign off from the local council have yet to be obtained by Promaga - expected later this month so once this is done you/we can arrange to be connected - this can be organised through your lawyers as well.

For holding of keys and cleaning of apartments etc...., there is a service being offered by full time residents of the development  - Nancy Imrie - I will ask here to respond to you on the message board. 

Nancy and her husband (Terry) are also co-ordinating the community requirements with the other residents and Promaga, so definitely suggest you contact them.

Just to let you all know that after much chasing we now have our kitchen fitted and some (not all) the initial snagging issues satisfied. Of course as you would expect there are some new snagging issues with the kitchen, like damaged fridge door, drawer fronts loose etc....which continues to be a frustration.

That said we have decided to complete (last Friday) and agreed that €10k of the monies are held back at the Notary until the kitchen snags are fully corrected and certified.

We are at last after 3 years in the waiting, owners of our apartment in Spain!!

Now we just need to get the rest of you over the line so we can set up the community group and get the facilities (swimming pool, gardens etc) serviced.

We are out there again for 2 weeks from 21 July so may see some you there.

We had hoped to have completed 2 weeks ago but kitchen was not fitted - promised by Christian that would be done urgently and we had our snagger lined up for today but advised this morning that kitchen team have not been on site for past 7 days - we are now looking for another week before kitchen completed and final snagging can be checked.

Apparently issue has been that the main contractor has gone bust and the sub-contractors have not been paid for a few months and Promaga are now having to settle all outstanding claims and build confidence with the workforce. All in all a right mess!

That said the development on the whole looks goods and we just want to be in now, having waited so long and to enjoy the summer out there

We have just uploaded some photos of the development taken last week by our friends. Looks like it has really come on since we were last there in February, but of course this is still well overdue.

It is clear that we have all been given the run around by Promaga and sounds like there has been a number of false promises made and excuses given to keep us all quiet!

Exchanged e-mail with Christian at the showroom and he said that all the constructing work, carpentry, doors, windows, shutters and painting has been finished, but the majority of apartments are still missing the kitchen!

Kitchens are being installed block by block (currently in block 4 out of 14 with 1,2 and 3 completed)

His words..... "I think if all goes well your apartment could be ready for middle of May and Town hall agreed to all points regarding the first occupancy license. It’s verbally given, only missing the signature of the mayor; this should be done during this week!"

Does anyone believe this....we can but hope!

We have requested professional snagger (HolaLife) and they are keeping tabs on progress/timetable.
