Buying property in Tenerife

               We will be visiting SADM on the 20th Feb we are really looking forward to see this development and the local area, it would be nice to know who else may be visiting on the 20th we would love to meet other buyers/potential buyers.

Hello Mike Lorna (am I right in assuming that you are two people?!)

From reading another forum, I know one couple who will be there at that time.  Unfortunately we aren't flying to Alicante until 25 February, so I assume that you will have flown back by then. We will be staying at Playa Golf for 4 nights, then Murcia for 2 nights.  We plan to get the bus to Jumilla (we don't drive!) on Friday 29th and hope to have time to walk out to SADM.

Please send an update on your return, in case we don't get to visit the site.

Would have been nice to meet up with you out here but unfortunately we are bound for the UK that week. Rachel  Saker will be here at the apartments in La Zenia if you want to drop by and say hello, and much to our surprise, the whole place is full of "jumilla-bound" homeowners, and I'm sure Rach will introduce you to them all !!! Our place will be vacant that week (we're in Cuba) so if you need some accomodation let us know !

If you get a chance, try the Jumilla wine from the Consomme supermarket in La Zenia if you do drop by, we had a few bottles the other evening (4 bottles) and the cost of each bottle was......85cents (60p) and it tastes amazing !. Alternatively, one of the Bodegas in Jumilla supplies a 15ltr container of vino tinto for a paultry 13euros....could drive many a good man to drink. Hopefully Sue and John will be around that week also...!

Have a great visit and hopefully we can meet up again in the near future, we'll make sure you get a nice warm welcome from the "Jumilla-Mob"

Hi All

Just to let you know that we have visited Jumilla today.  On the way, (on the A30 past Murcia before the Jumilla turn off) we noticed on the left a ´depot´full of lorries, that was advertised as San Jose.  I am hoping (?) that this will be in readiness for the build start!  We didn´t get to look at the development this time, as everything was locked up, but we did have a great time in the town, and found a great restaurant.  I seem to notice more furniture shops springing up (or perhaps this is physicological!)

Sadly, flying home Monday, back to work on Tuesday to pay for the dream!!  Sorry to have missed the rest of the ¨Jumilla mob´
