HI JUST TO LET EVERYONE JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THE SPA CENTRE DID OPEN ON FRIDAY,

WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO COME WITH A WAY TO KEEP OUT PEOPLE WHO DONT LIVE OR RENT ON THALASSA AS THEY ARE COMING AT NIGHT TO USE THE TENNIS AND THE SPA. EVERY SECOND NIGHT 3 SPANISH MEN DRIVE IN THE GATE PARK THERE CAR AND PLAY TENNIS THEN LEAVE IN THERE CAR, THEY HAVE JUST ARRIVED AND ARE NOW IN THE CENTER, I HAVE JUST COME BACK FROM THE SECURITY HUT AND THERE IS NO ONE THERE, LAST NIGHT THE SECURITY GUARD TOLD PEOPLE TO LEAVE THE SPA SO HE COULD CLOSE IT AND TWO COUPLES WALKED TO THERE CAR AND DROVE OUT THE GATE THEY DID NOT LIVE HERE EITHER, I AM NOT GOING TO TELL THESE PEOPLE TO LEAVE AS I DONT WANT ANY TROUBLE .

Absolutely agree that this needs to be resolved and it is not down to any owner or guest to challenge these people.

Obviously the security people are not doing their job & that needs to be addressed.

I have suggested previously that all owners/guests have a car sticker to display in their windsscreens with the apartment no on it.  This will hopefully go some way to addressing abuse of the facilities and security/brave owners would know where to go to "have a quiet word" if needed.   It is also an instantly visible sign for the gatekeeper.  SeaSun need to be told about the culprits as their staff are taking a salary out of our fees to administrate the complex.

I have emailed Seasun with this issue today.

Perhaps if they got a number of emails on the same topic, they may actually do something.

I have also emailed Seasun.  I agree with you.  The more of us that email, the more likely they are to investigate.  After all,  will be us that are paying for both the facilities and the gatekeeper!

 

Al Andalus Resort have fitted the same lock on the indoor pool door that is currently used on the pedestrian gate.

This ensures that OWNERS ONLY have access at all times to the said facility.

Maybe those owners who choose to rent their properties out could include a pedestrian gate key in order that their guests can have use of the spa?

Nobody loses out, everybody wins, so no arguments!!

The same key could also be used for the tennis/paddle courts.

Any trespassers will have their tackle removed without the use of an anaesthetic and a VERY blunt knife!!!

You have been warned!!!

The use of the same key for both the gate & the spa & tennis court is a great idea & will obviously make it more difficult for outsiders to wander in & use the facilities.

However it will not entirely address the issue of security (or the lack of it!) as I know that I was able to enter the site in August & have a wander round to look at how things were progressing. I also know that our neighbours in the next block did the same thing in October.

The issue of lack of security needs to be addressed & I have asked all those on Andrew Ramptons list of owners (about 80) to email Luis Marquez about the issue.

I don't know whether or not the pedestrian gate has a self closing mechanism fitted yet. This is the most common way of ensuring the gate shuts behind you when you leave.

I had a feeling that this would happen, due to the lack of security. Perhaps a security consultant should be employed to make suggestions. After all we cannot be the first , nor will we be the last to encounter this problem.

Am looking forward to a swim this weekend!
