Hi Anita

Work is very much apartment based either refurbishment or new build. This demand caused apparently because of the new airport where many jobs will be created and also part due to us as maids, bar staff and gardeners will be required to service our needs.  One bar in Corvera has been given permission to extend so that a restaurant can be accommodated. Extremely pleasing to see the investment in the town itself.

Hey bored, you seem to have mis-understood the whole purpose of these web forums, they are here to share ideas, compare notes and generally help each other in what is a very difficult time, particularly with lot´s of people who are not being kept up to speed with what is happening with their invested funds and the proposed developments.

I would suggest 2 things, firstly if you have nothing helpful or positive to say, please for the sake of everybody, just say nothing, your comments are not helpful and they are not welcome.

The second thing is that with all your money you clearly have, you should invest in a computer with spell check facilities, as your spelling and grammar is terrible, I had to get an 8 year old in from the neighbours house to translate.

I sincerely wish you every success with your mansion in Los Alcazares, good luck with your endeavours with the lawsuits and may Allah smile upon you in Dubai.

Ciao

Hi Marvin

i totally agree with your last post, however i suggest that we all give bored, minimum response, he is clearly trying to wind us all up.

i think in this case, less said the better.

Hi All,

totally agree with last two posts.

I'm on my way over to Corvera tomorrow, can't wait.

Does anyone want any info while I'm over?

Will take photos and try to post them, which by all accounts isn't as straightforward as I first thought, but will try anyway.

Gina

Hi Gina

Perhaps whilst visiting corvera you might be able to get a little more information regarding the final signiture, Rosa suggested  that  the final signature was expected to be signed on the 16 -01- 08 regarding the final licence.

Rosa gave us this information when i visited on the 11-01-08.

i think you will be pleasantly suprised at the progress, enjoy your trip

Hi Gina

Just to say I agree with Dave, if you could find out something on the signiture front it would be much appreciated, although things are looking rosy on the construction side of things, the final signiture has not been signed ( or at least not to our knowledge), and if there are further delays in the signing, I feel that concerns will again begin to rise.

Hi Gina

Whilst you're at Corvera, could you please try to ascertain at exactly what stage they will start laying out the golf course. They originally said that it would be open for playing between phases 1 and 2.

As they are now building both phases together, it would be nice to know (especially for those who own on 1 and 2) if it will be ready at the completion of 1 and 2. As you can see by my sig/pic I own on phase 3 but will have to rent out to meet costs. No doubt there are those in the same position on 1 and 2. Obviously it will make the properties much more rentable if golf is available on site.

To all those posting positively on the forum and keeping everybody's spirits up, Keep up the good work.

Hi all

Like everyone,I have been very disapointed at the lack of completion at Corvera. And like everyone{well almost everyone}am more confident about the future of it.

As we were in this for the longterm, thats how we intend to stay.At least its given us the chance to save a bit more dosh {less of a mortgage}  not much of a

positive but still. Thanks to all,for the info.had it been left to our lawyers we would be none the wiser.

I was at Corvera  a couple of weeks ago and construction of Phase 1 has started, you can see the layout of the golf course and roads are being put in place - looked a busy site to me and will be quite spectacular.

Hi All,

I'm just in from the airport, was at Corvera yesterday, I can't believe the amount of work that has gone on since I was last there in August. I'll post the photos tomorrow, with regard to the final signature Pablo wasn't unduly concerned by the lack of it thus far, and after being out there neither am I. The golf course is due to be completed along with the first two phases and work is to start in earnest on it in the next two months. All in all my trip has re-affirmed my confidence in Corvera, I think it is going to be fantastic.

We purchased on Phase 3 twelve months ago and have been monitoring all the messages on this forum. There has been a number of emotions running through our veins but I have to say, seeing the latest pictures on the photos page has given us rekindled optimism for our future dream apartment. I am unable to get over to Corvera in the forseeable future but would ask if anybody is going out there, please take some more pics for the site. It really has got us excited again.
Thanks in anticipation.

Geoff

I'd like to thank all those who have updated the photographs. This is just as well as despite Calidona's awareness of their clients interest in the progress of the development, the best they can do is update their own site every few months, when I looked at their site today their most recent photographs are dated Nov 7th.

I'd also like to say that at long last it is good to see such progress on the development front, but unlike Pablo we should be concerned that there is no 'full' building licence in place and that we should not ' take our eye off this ball'. Personally I feel it's best to assume nothing until it is in writing. As I have said it is good to see such progress, but after all the delays on the building licence front, the one thing I feel we should have all learnt is to not to take anything for granted.
