I think that anyone who is offered an alternative apartment will be told that it is in a better position and there will be a premium to be paid, it's your standard sales spin BS. You just end up getting less for your money but feel happy about it. It's just like being told by your original sales agent that they or a member of their family have invested in the development, it gives you greater confidence in the development, just your standard sales BS. Just because they are shovelling it doesn't mean you have to take it.
Your properties are probably worth something like 50% of purchase price, a large part of the is due to the lack of facilities that you are entitled to. Will people rent on properties miles from anywhere with no facilities, I doubt it. I strongly suspect that communal fees will rocket, the facilities will never be built and the prices will not recover in the foreseeable future and you will have one hell of a job to resell them, a financial millstone thanks to Corvera. But if you are happy with all that, good luck.
