Have tried to speak to the man who holds the key to the spa ie: the "gatekeeeper/security man", and he intimates that the cleaners are keeping the spa clean!
After having witnessed the evidence first hand, I feel that I must disagree. Today, 13th December, the steam room was still smelling "fungal", although the sauna was hot. It would appear that the heating for both appliances seems to come into play once the sulphur lights switch on at approx: 5pm. Just as you are settling down to enjoy yourself, the "gatekeeper" appears to switch all appliances off (tonight at 6.35pm), rather annoying, as I had no alternative but to leave the spa as the lights were being switched off despite me not having the opportunity to shower!
It would be lovely to enjoy a sauna and swim on Christmas Day, as, no doubt others would wish to do so. Unfortunately, nobody seems willing or able to confirm if the facilities will be open during the festive period.
I say that the spa should remain open 24/7, during this period. I do not see it relevant that the "gatekeeper" should have the power to stop owners enjoying the fruits of our labours!!!!
Should Seasun House state that there has to be a "SHUT-DOWN" period for whatever reason, then I, would be willing to open and close the spa during the holiday season without it costing them a penny! This, I can assure you, is a purely selfish motion on my part!!!!
I live here full-time and wish to enjoy the benefits of the spa "full-time". Call me selfish! I don't give a damn!!!!
I, along with all other "Thalassians" are paying for the privilige!
Give the keys to the sanitarium to the inmates! Surely, they can't make more of a mess of the situation than the last lot?
Regards to all fellow "inmates",
