The Mar Menor

Week before last I went into the post office (Oficina de Correos) which is behind Mercodona Supermarket in Sabillinas to collect my post.

I asked for the post and out comes 1 box marked Duquesa Village and Noviembre, I check the post and ask for the boxes marked Octubre, Septiembre etc.

No is the reply we now only have 1 box as we don't have the space, where is the post please I ask (Donde es el correos por favor) 

We have sent it all back to the senders !!!!!!!!!

Now some of the post in the box I saw was marked urgent, private confidential and some was obviously from solicitors the outside of the envelope was marked Abogados etc.

I completed in April 2007.  I've been to DV four times.  On each occassion I've gone to collect my post.   Previously at the AEA office and more recently at the new post office.

Every time there was masses of uncollected but   none for me. 
I've never seen a water  bill, electricity  bill, rates bill etc   nor anything from AEA. 
Like most people, all my bills are paid by Direct Debit   but sooner of later something important is going to be mailed and seemingly  lost !!!

I would suggest that we have at least a general mail box  at  DV  and nothing is ever thrown away.
Something for proposing at the next AGM.

Does anyone else have any strong views on this   or am I the only one whose never had any post at all  !!!!

Thanks for the call on Friday...i went down Saturday Morning and quess what...another Saint's day so it was shut.  so looks like my mail will be returned . However, a bit like Paul, the only mail I have ever had was connected to electricity bills...so no great loss.

During discussions with AEA ( Rosa)  , along with an office for AEA on site, she has said that we will also have mailboxes, which is what t we should insist upon as a minimum.

Never had any post in a year and a half, its a total shambles...  :-(

And what is there doesnt seem to be enough for properties that are sold, dont know where all our post goes...
