Hi all in DV and Happy New Year. I have a couple renting in Feb that are over to play golf for a few weeks. Any posts on good courses, best value, bunkers that make the best sand castles, greens that are the greenest, flags that are the most colourful etc etc would be much apreciated.... Frankley I'd rather go snowboarding :-)

Will print off any sugestions and leave in the apartment for them.

Did we manage to get any local discounts, considering were next to the course.

P.S I'm over on the 17th, anyone wanting any specific photos of site where they have brought, just drop me a line.  The site was looking good in December with palm trees being planted in the centre pavement section of the main village road right to the very top.

Hav said before we need a full, comprehensive list of all suppliers so that when the builders leave will will still be able to match broken kitchen doors and other items that will need replacing over the next decade or two...

When you buy a new property in the UK all this info is provided

I to have patched inside and outside paintwork but cant get a match

Hi all,

It is important the each apartment is sealed from the next and sealed properly so that it can resist the spread of fire from one apartment to the next. The developer needs to be involved and any faults made known so that others can be checked.

For everyones info, the night time guard has a hand held device which he holds against circular devices that are fixed to walls (at heights of around 5ft) around Duquesa Village. This gives the security company a print out of where and when he partolled each night. It would be useful to know how often each patrol is done. To extend the area covered, more circular tags can be fixed in position. It wont be long before night time breakins start... the problem at the moment though is the daytime as people are free to enter and exit the village to have a good look round completely unchallanged...  I dont know of any night time breakins as yet.
