We were at Thalassa last week - Block 27 ground floor - our wardrobe had been removed in the main bedroom due to blocked pipes (rubble)  we noticed a long mark  along the bottom of the wall - not sure if it was damp! (hope not) contacted Keymare who did not know of any problems in block 27. We are waiting to complete but the builder has not yet released our apartment.

Diane and Paul

As previous thread. we have a duplex on this block. This was released in September. It is unusual to release individual appartments like this, and over such a long period. Is any reason known for this slow release?

If there is damp we all need to act together on this.

Did you notice any work going ont to No5 ? (end duplex by the tennis courts - inward facing) our snagging is supposedly takingg place, including a repaint of the exterior walls

I don't know specifically what was being done but the duplex outside facing had it's door open last Thursday, so presumably someone was working in there.

Also on Thursday & Friday, Diane & Paul's apartment had a lot of work going on but again, I can't say specifically what.

Noreen

We are also in Block 27 a duplex apartment number 4 next to the Tennis Court. We have not completed as yet due to a staircase in need of repair. The solicitor requested form the developer an update 2 weeks ago and the developer has yet to come back to him with an answer as yet. I will send an email to the solicitor to ensure no damp issues are located and if so we will make further delays re completition until it is sorted out.

For info.

Some of the ground floor apartments (noticably block 13) are having the lawns re laid due to the slope being in the direction of the property rather than away from it. (hence when it rains it runs toward the property) I was chatting with Manolo who is in charge of gardens and he seems to think most of the blocks will be done.

Re block 27 - Last time we were over (we have an inward facing duplex) the lower part of the walls to the duplex and ground floor apartments remained wet through most of the day. This was as a result of the sprinkler system that comes on early each morning directing most of its water to the wall. I have photographs showing the wall below our utility room remaining damp.
