But it is their(the residents) responsibility when they have passed through them (the pedestrian gates)to ensure that they are closed ,this prevents opportunist thiefs or non-resident pool users.Therefore all users have a reponsibility.

If the gate was kept shut bye a spring, like all the other resorts there would not be any need. Once the gate is shut you cannot get in unless you have a key,or you a very good belly dancer.
