HAS ANY ONE ANY IDEA JUST WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH OUR HOUSES ?? TODAY I PHONED PALMERA PROP CUSTOMER SERVICE . GUESS WHAT     I GOT THROUGH !!!   ON ENQUIRING ABOUT STATE OF PLAY AT THE SITE AND WETHER WE COULD EXPECT ANY NEWS IN THE NEAR FUTURE ABOUT COMPLETION .. I WAS INFORMED THAT IT IS NOW ENTIRELY IN THE HANDS OF SOLICITORS.. AND THAT ANY NEWS WOULD BE PUT ON THEIR WEBSITE..THEIR BEST GUESS WAS THAT IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS PLUS FOR COURT ACTION TO END .. THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT WOULD HAPPEN AFTER THAT ..SO NOTHING IT SEEMS WILL HAPPEN UNTIL WELL INTO THE NEW YEAR .. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEIR COURT ACTION AGAINST MIRADOR INCLUDES PLANNING PROBLEMS/ OPTIONAL EXTRAS/CONTRACTS .AMONGST OTHER THINGS  .I THEN ASKED WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THEY "WON" THE CASE .. MEANING WOULD THE EXTRAS PACKAGE BE SCRAPPED.??. WOULD COMPLETION THEN GO AHEAD ?? THEY COULD NOT COMMENT.. I SHOULD HAVE ALSO ASKED WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THEY LOST THE CASE.??? . IN EITHER SCENARIO JUST IMAGINE HOW HELPFUL THE BUILDER IS GOING TO BE IN SNAGGING AFTERWARDS ..

                                                      LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER CHRISTMAS IN THE UK.. 

 SHOULD YOU WISH TO CHECK THIS INFO JUST KEEP RINGING YOU WILL HOPEFULLY GET THROUGH EVENTUALLY

 JUST CHECK THE POSTING OS DEC 2006 .. THE ONLY THING TO HAPPEN IS THAT THERE IS NOW A COMMUNITY POOL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DEVELOPEMENT

All the houses are complete. I was there in October and was able to get inside the fencing. I was told by an English person who lives nearby that the Council had confiscated them all and was going to sell them to Spanish families at reduced rates?

I have deposits on two on phase 2 so imagine how I feel.

All I can say is BULLSHIT ( SORRY BUT THIS IS HOW I FEEL ) I have been told today by MIRADOR that I can Sign for my property next week.

Believe me I would like you to prove me wrong - last thing I want is to have the same sort of hassle as Phase 1.

I have also been told by Mirador that they will be contacting my Solicitor shortly with a completion date.  Trying hard not to get excited!!

I have been told today 18th nov that even though i sold my house in 2004 my name is still on the deeds as the owner, I have to sign and pay an extra 9000euros never mind the 12000euros for extras.  The poor people who bought do not know and they live in benalmadna. The paper we both signed never got to the builders and is worthless. GOOD WHAT A MESS

Hi Guys

I arrived (10th nov 2007)at Fuente de piedra to view for the 2nd time this Mirador villa (phase one) I purchased back in 2002, from that wonderful Company Palmera Properties, On arrival I managed to get into the complex and wandered down to my plot, There it was in all its glory, I then tried the door which to my surprise was open, On entering the villa i noticed all the interior work had been complete, the exterior was finished and all the road ways and street lighting was also done, there was hosey working on the comunial swimming pool and a couple of others breast feeding there shovels, think it might have been his brother hose b yeh i knows its an old joke but you have to laugh with all the crap coming out of palmera, I tried to speak to one of the guys there but with no joy!

I must say although the finishing standard of the properties is very poor, they look great and the whole area is beautiful, (i have taken pics on my camera , if any body wants copies please ask, (gbwilts@aol.com).

Finally I arrived home (14th nov) to an email from palmera requesting "Do I have my morgage in place as completion is very close"


I telephoned palmera (completions dept) to be told the builder had been in touch, although the habitat licience is not in place yet.  anyway see you all in court

If any body can translate a letter from Mirador today I would be greatful, Tried to Goole it with a translator but could not make head or tale of it.

Por la presente le infomanos que la vivenda adquirida en nuestra promocion “Villas Rurales de Fuente de Piedra 1 Fase”, que ya cuenta con Certificado Final de Obras desde el mes de Abril ha obtenido Licencia de Primera Ocupacion por parte del Ayuntamiento de Fuente de Piedra con fecha  14 de noviembre de 2007 por lo que, sirva la presente, a los efectos oportunos, como notificacion para la puesta a disposicion de la vivienda que nos tiene usted adquirida.
 
Port al motivo venimos a requerirle por termino de 15 dias para el otorgamiento de la oportuna Escritura Publica de compraventa.
 
Le rogamos se ponga en contacto lo antes possible con nuestro Departamento de Administracion Comercial a fin de proceder a la liquidacion de las cantidades pendientes le pago, si las hubiera y la  preceptiva Provision de Fondos por los conceptos recogidos en nuestro contrato.
 
Le recordamos que tiene usted derecho en el plazo de 72 horas a partir del recibo de la presente para fijar la Notaria de Antequera que usted desee, y ello conforme a lo previsto en la legislacion vigente entendiendo, transcurrido dicho plazo que renuncia a dicho derecho por lo que quedaria la Notaria de D. Jose Andres Navas Hidalgo sita en Malaga, Alameda de Colon
 
Por ultimo, recordarle su obligacion a liquidar las cantidades pendiented, efectuar la provision de fondos requerida, hacerse cargo de la vivienda y formalizar la Escritura Publica de Compraventa de esta, y que su incumplimiento dara lugar a la resolucion del contracto suscrito entre las partes.
 
Sin otro particular, quedamos en espera de sus notcias y aprovechamos para saludarle atentamente.
