Anyone know what the names are of the streets on either side of Los Olivos ?
Just that if you need to specify your address you need to state the street name and not Los Olivos because there is already a street called Los Olivos somewhere else on Huerta Nueva (apparently).

Regarding post, we need to collect it from the post office in Los Gallardos - it is not delivered. And apparently they bin anything unclaimed after 2 weeks !

We have arranged with our keyholder, Rob & Linda, to have our post collected from the post office as we'll only be able to go out about every 6 to 8 weeks.

Yes, Calle Los Olivos is one of the main streets in the lower part of the urbanisation.  The low numbers of Los Olivos, including ours 3b are on Calle Los Olmos - so full address is C Los Olmos, Los Olivos, H.N etc.

The mountain side is Calle Azahar.  The road down from Los Olivos to Los Gallardos is all called Avenida De La Libertad, and on the other side, the road between Los Olivos and the Lake is Calle Las Palmeras.

There used to be a street plan on the costa almeria site - but that has changed  a few times and I would not know where to find it now.

At some time in the future ( perhaps when more of the building is completed) I expect we will be told our property numbers in our respective streets. Meantime as all the utility and other service suppliers have been given 20B Los Olivos, Urb Huerta Nueva, 04280 Los Gallardos, Almeria as our address we will stick with that.

Certainly the address we have insured is 3b Calle Los Olmos, etc   - they did need the full address, including the postcode.

When we completed we got a streetplan of the whole of Los Gallardos and HN, and it does have the street names clearly marked on - I just found this today, it is quite useful!! 

There is certainly a problem with the Los Olivos street, in that friends of ours who were using our apt thought that  they had arrived!!  The residents of course put them right so it did not matter.  In terms of post - maybe the post code is different for the other part of HN, therefore for Calle Los Olivos????   So maybe street name not so important.  It would be interesting to find out.
