A word of warning to everybody using the phase I pool: there are quite a lot of loose tiles at the bottom, that can cause nasty cuts.

Also a request to the comittee, to whoever is responsible for the emergency kit to check it and keep it filled following the legal requirements. Max cut himself badly today, and the emergency kit was empty (except for some non-sterile cotton balls). There wasn't even any toilet paper to dress the wound, so he had to hop home leaving a bloody trail.

Thank you Irene, that is very sweet of you. I have a first aid kit at home and so have most of the people in Don Juan I think. But that is not the point I am trying to make.

Those first aid-kits at swimming pools have very strict requirements according to the law and those are different from you average home first-aid kit. Not fulfilling those requirements can lead to high fines or even losing the license and being forced to close the pool. We would need -like last year- someone responsible to check the contents often and refill when needed. I have offered the comittee to take that role if there is no one else available, but it is important that someone is on top of it. Both for our security and the legal consequenses.
