Does anyone else do a bit of scuba diving?

I would love to say I am an expert, but  did dive last year in Fuertaventura and loved it.  I am trying to find time to do my license at the moment as I hear there is excellent diving around the mar menor.

You know anything about the local offerings?

Only what Ive found on the web but I fully intend to check them out. The waters warm and thats a good start!

You can train out there, its cheaper as well.

We dive every Sunday in Puerto de Mazarron (about 30 minutes from SG) & for the med it´s pretty good. The water is warm, clear with lots of fishes. Last year we even saw a Luna (Moon) Fish. There have been sightings of Pilot Whales & Dolphins.

We paid 400€ for a 20 dive package (20€ a dive) but we have all our own gear except bottles.

Next time we´re out Los Alcazares way I will see if I can get anymore info

Do you know if there are any cave dives or decent wreck dives in our area?

We haven´t dived there yet, but Aguilas north of Mazarron has lots of wrecks. We have a couple in Mazarron, but just old fishing boats.

Thats you two, Jason and my son Kyle and myself, my father in law will be out quite a bit and he is very experienced.
