Ihope you don't mind me asking but I am thinking of buying a Polaris property in Condado de Alhama. I wondered how people how got on with La Torre development. Have the apartment prices gone up npw it is near completion, what are the towns in polaris world like, is the entertainment etc expensive and does it seem like a large complex or a town Thank you

We switched from Hacienda Riquelme to La Torre as our apartment wasn't built. We were given a 2004 price but there has been only a nominal increase in value on La Torre, as yet. However, values on Mar Menor shot up once the resort opened, so hopefully we'll see an increase soon

Alan,

I would agree with Mike. We bought our apartment on La Torre (off plan) in January 2003. We are just completing now. The prices are almost the same as when we bought off plan, but I think when the complex is finished and all the building work has stopped, which should be at the end of this year, the prices should go through the roof. When we first bought on La Torre we were told by an independant adviser that we should double our money withing 5 years of our purchase.

Regards

David and Linda.

Hi I am in La Torre as we speak and I have a ground floor apartment on phase 1, there are several apartments in the vicinity for sale and I chatted to the owners of one of these, they are asking for €235K which would be a good return, there is also another ground floor up for €260K

That would tend to reflect the same position, that as the resort nears completion the prices will start to increase. Initially there will be some for sale looking for a quick profit, which might kept the values down for a while but then prices will rise.
