Public Transport

I have bought an apartment in Casares del sol suites and I have just been informed that they will be ready next April 2008. Interlaken are no longer the developers. It has changed hands for some reason. Anyone have any further news? Any other buyers interested in keeping in contact?  I go out at the end of May to have a look. Bye for now.

I'm a purchaser on Pueblo Real Golf , (its the same complex as yours, but 96 flats come under pueblo real golf) we received an update on the site just before Easter and was told the completion will now be Spring 2008. As for Interlaken not being the developers...this is the first we've heard of this - can you please tell us where you heard this.

We were  in Spain January and  over the Easter period and on both occasions drove up to the site. From January to April we could see a real big improvment. It looks like all the blocks have now been started on.

We would appreciate any feed back you have on the site.

I too am a buyer at CDSS.  Originally I considered buying in the Puebl Real section but ended up going through CDSS.  Either way, as you say it is the same thing.

Although completion is now set for April 2008, I am betting that we will not all be in till June 2008.  Especially as all apartments have to Habitation certificates before any are released.  Either way I am sure it will be worth the wait.

I have good lawyer and speak a little Spanish.  in addition, I tend to visit every four months.  Hence, I can maybe help answer questions as time goes by?  Please let me know how your May visit goes CMP - it would be great if you could post pictures?

Hi, I wondered if anyone can tell me what is happening on the Casares Del Sol Suites development?  We have purchased on the CDS site and our managing agents have told us that all building work has stopped on the CDS suites and nothing has been happening over there for the last few months?  Of course they are not there all the time, but they did also say that Interlaken have started a new site at the Estepona roundabout, so they were under the impression that as the CDS Suites haven't sold very well that the site is on hold until the market picks up.

Is this true?  Because this isn't good for any of us, as the sooner it's all finished and looking lovely the sooner we can all start to enjoy it, rent them out or sell them, depending on our plans.

We are going to go out there next month so we will take some pictures of CDS Suites as well as the CDS site and post them so you can see if there has been any movement since you were there, but in the meantime I wondered if any of the real buyers had any news.

As not many of you seem to be around I thought I would reply to my own post.  Sad I know.  Billy no-mate syndrome.

However, I didn't want anyone to read it and worry, as I have now got confirmation from others on the CDS site that the building work on the CDS Suites site is in fact still going ahead, albeit slowly, but there are still builders around and it's going ahead, which is the main thing.

I was out at our apartment at Casares del Sol last week and can confirm that there was a great deal of building activity on the Suites site.  It seems that there is now a push to get on with the building work.   I am sure that CDS owners are just as keen as Suites owners that this is completed so that the whole area can be tidied up - the builders were generating a huge amount of dust.

I called in at the sales office and was told that completion was indeed expected in April 2008.  I did ask 'is this realistic' and was asured that it was - I will leave it up to yourself to conclude whether this will materialise!  I was also told that it is 'two-thirds' sold.
