Can someone please advise on a bank in  Casares (costa del sol) area. Reading the posts it appears Halifax is a good bank but I dont know where Halifax branches are sited. Ideally I'm looking for a bank in the casares ,manilva, duquesa area which is English speaking & online banking. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

We've paid deposit and build just starting to take shape. We are not happy with our lawyers....we bombard them with emails and we rarely get any replies. Any questions we put to them they fob us off and are not very helpful at all. We have given them power of attorney !!!   Would it be easy to change lawyers at this stage and how do you stop them having power of attorney ?  (our lawyers were the one's recommended by our agents,)  Really wished we had read this web site first

Could someone please advise on first steps to changing lawyers.

I am buying a property off plan and my contract only tells me the total sq metres of my apartment. I have been advised to get the individual room sizes because apparently our developers have a habit of building undersized apartments. Through my lawyers I have requested this information and have been told that the developers, by law have no legal obligation to pass on this information. Does any one know if this is right. Appreciate any feed backs on this subject.

Is it the norm for apartments to come up smaller than the sizes on our contracts.
I've just been informed, the outside of the apartment ie. walk way to front door is also included in the size. Is this right ?
