Changing Law Firm After Inital 3000e deposit is paid - Difficult?

We have just returned after spending a couple of weeks in our apartment in block 2.

I have to say the site has improved tremendously in the last few months.

There are still a few problems for the developer Interlaken to address Watering Systems, Public Lighting etc.but on the whole we are quite pleased.

The only part of the development we are dissapointed with is the final finish to the exterior walls, I am sure that a 10 year old could render and paint better than the Spanish seem to have, the answer we got when we asked was it is rustic (more like amateur / do it on the cheap ).

If this is the top quality Interlaken promised I feel sorry for all the people ploughing large sums of money into the football village project next door.  

Cardiff has been very helpful and has certainly attended to any of our issues regarding our apartment and he has made sure we were happy with his mens work and that we were completely satisfied.

He made sure that all our problems were addressed whilst we were still on site even though some items were very minor considering the amount of work he obviously has to do to finish Interlaken's building work

It would seem to us that once the owners actually takeover the running of the site and gardners are employed it will be a very nice place to visit.

We have spoken to some other owners whilst we were there and they also are very happy with the site

So good to read your report about the development & reassuring.  I have an appartment on block 24 (still to be finalised) & reading the overall collected comments did not fill one with delight.

My instict is that everything will be ok & it will be a good site.  I remember when I saw the site two years ago-it has come on but the adjoining Majestic site seems to have stayed exactly where it was.  As I understand it we are in a fairly 'exclusive ' area that should eventually be reflected in price.  Lets hope things move forward with the hotel & adjoining sites.

I will pay particular attention to snagging & should be completed by February 2007.  I take it water & other utilities Ok?

I am cautiously encouraged that you have returned with positivity. Did you take any photographs as I note the last ones taken wre in mid July: I would asume that progress (visually) is accelerating and would be keen to see the development and amenities maturing.
