Ridiculously cheap car hire??

Hi, I have just booked a car from Goldcar for 3.65euro for a week - what’s the con?? I have my own excess insurance - has anyone had problems with similar rentals - sounds to good to be true is ringing in my ears!! 

Paid the same with Gold Car from Murcia in October 

I pay around the same via do you Spain car hire..they get the money back on the fuel and service charge's...you are wise to take out a excess insurance policy ..you can buy this for around £50 on the net.

If you have taken out a full empty car hire contract, they will charge you a refilling charge plus the fuel used at a slightly higher cost, take it back full and you only pay the refilling/administration charge of 30 odd euros, also make sure you  take a credit card with you or they will make you take out their own insurance, if you read all the two page contract from doyouSpain it’s all in there.

take photos and inform them of any damage not on sheet, especially under side cills and front bumper

im not a lover of Goldcar.
