Any DIY material suppliers close to Sierra Golf Resort Balsicas?

Hi everyone. I'm about to reside in Sierra Golf and intend to do some DIY. For instance, I want to build a shed, and to do this I need timber, etc. Does anyone know where there is a supplier of wood? Also, I'm looking at the possibilty of constructing a car-port so need to buy a welder, tools and metal. Any good suppliers for these too?

I'm an experienced multi-skilled engineer so do not need anyone else to do the work or design.

Here is a bit of good advice dont build anything in timber as it will only bend and twist in the heat very few people use wood in spain everything is built with concrete I have been to the timber merchants in pelar and could not find one straight bit of wood spanish bricks come in all shapes and sizes most people use them and render finnish hope this helps you 

Places like Leroy Merlin in Murcia by IKEA and Cartagena sell wood plus a merchants on the N332 in Pilar, close to the ME supermarket

Better prices and range in Bricodepot in Crevillent , literally B&Q Kingsfisher group

Because of the wide range of products the "go to" DIY store for many people is Leroy Merlin. There are branches @ Cartagena, Murcia and ( I think) La Zenia. Eroski in the Dos Mares shopping centre is not bad for "bits and bobs". For builders merchants (excellent value), there is one off the RM 19 between San Javier and Balsicas, and one (Martin's?) on the F30 in Los Alcazares (between the motorway and the town centre). As with most towns there is a ferreteria in Balsicas. Quality products, but you will probably need to speak Spanish if you can't see what you want.

Lots of people who have a open have a cupboard under the stairs built with bricks and a metal door witch you lock 

The day shop n balsicas sells lots of tools plus.  The chauvinist in Avileses sell small tools.   Leroy Merlin is in last Sonia and there are brico shops around.
