Council tax

We have received this from our solicitors, can anyone give us more information, and where do we obtain IBI.

(i) Copy IBI 2013 receipt (annual local Council Tax) – required by the end of JULY 2014.

Please also advise us of any changes to your situation during the last year, i.e:
1. Change of Residency status.
2. Details if you have bought or sold a property during 2013. Please supply copy TITLE DEED.
3. If you are Resident with more than one property – confirmation which house you reside in.
4. If you have changed your bank account, kindly provide new details.

Our Fees : 130€ (incl. IVA) for one property and 190€ (incl. IVA) for two or more properties. This amount will be debited from your bank account in May 2014 unless you advise us otherwise. (If we cannot obtain our fees, we will be unable to process your taxes for the year).

Just received the same notification. Was expecting it for end of this year, although earlier than I expected. Haven't had time to read and understand it.

You have to go to your Local Town Hall to obtain a copy of your Annual IBI. Take some form of identification with you such as Residency Permit,NIE Number & Passport.Link to website below. Have you been using these solicitors ever since you bought your property in spain. Are you saying they are not reliable any more. Haven't they been paying  your bills properly  in past years????

No problems with our solictors they have been great, just thought we had finished with them. We are still learning about things as we go along. We only purchased 7 months ago so just asking for advise.
