What do we need on Al Kazar

We wondered when you were going to chip in seeing as you are one of the people involved in all of this

Truth and transparency, yes some of that would be good and is what we have been asking for !

Yes you did offer another unit that is already up and running. Which will cost 3 times more to take over the lease and equipment than the Golf shop would have. Even taking this unit, we are still unsure if we could change it to what we wanted to do as the banks will not reply to us. They said yes when we were having the Golf Shop but arent prepared to answer now and after whats happened with things changing so much its a very big risk to take, without knowing !

Dont forget we have spent thousands already on equipment and vehicles to be told at the 11th hour we couldnt do what we wanted.

If we spent our funding on this unit we would have very little left to survive through the winter ! and we would need money to change the unit in to what we wanted to do with it as well

As for basing a business on renting the outside terrace to a neighbour, pot and kettle springs to mind ! but as you have raised this matter of the terrace of the Golf Shop, it was and is already sorted out , before we met you and the bank.

As you and all the other unit owners know, in the contracts it states the business has the sole use of its outside terrace, NOT THE NEIGHBOURS ! However, we have it in writing the established business doesnt want/need the terrace

So asking you the same as we have IRM, (who have refused to answer) why did you say there was a meeting with all the eating/drinking unit owners ? stating they didnt want any more eating establishments to open ?

We have asked some of the BIG FOOD unit owners and they have said there was no such meeting - we have this in writing

We were told by you that the established business threatened to leave if he did not get his way - eg our outside terrace, we have it in writing he knows nothing about this and said no such thing ! as he didnt need the space any more due to more food eating places opening up.

As for offering an empty unit on the other side, the same applies as before we need answers as to what we can do but again we have had no reply, meaning we are unable to progress any further

Many Thanks for your continued support, you would think the banks and the rest of the unit owners, at Al Kasars,  would love to see it full of businesses, but obviously they dont or they wouldnt have stopped us.

If you find out what we were going to do, I think there will be many people up in arms as to why were stopped - because it will be good for all the unit owners, the customers and yes the banks too

We would love to open up a unit but think realistically with everything that has happened this is very unlikely. As you have said there is a lot of back biting and we know for sure some units would be out to get us trying everything in their power to stop us succeeding.

We have faced up and realised our life of living in Spain, with a business in AL Kasars, is finished. This is bigger though than just us, there should be a business owners committee,  like the residents have presidents, to stop all this sort of thing from happening and make it all fair and legal for future businesses wanting to open

Reading the last few posts there certainly is two sides to every story, sounds like things have been a little underhanded in the way they deal with Leigh - I also hope things go well for you and you are allowed to open up because Al Kasars really does need more businesses.

I had a meal in La Cata last time I was over it was good food, reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly.

I also had a couple of really good evenings having a drink in what was the ice cream parlour, everyone was really friendly, the measures were massive and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was really nice and friendly and I will definitely be going there agian when Im next out

We put a post on here a week ago in answer to your post and we posted some questions back to you

We have asked you and the banks the same questions but had no answers back as yet - looks like your  hiding something and thats why your unable to answer ?

What about some of the truth and transparency you talked about in your last post ?

This will not go away at the minute there are people in Al Kasars  that are trying to control it by telling people what they can and cant do as you should know nothing is secret over there we know of people going round to other peoples houses telling them what they can do in there own business and complaining to the banks about the golf club taking peoples business and maybe telling the bank to stop other people from opening if they feel a threat  to their business -  one person shoudnt have this much power !

The majority of people on Condado agree with us - we all deserve to know why things changed and we were stopped this sort of thing can not be allowed to continue, the fact neither you or bank will give answers means you know this is going on which means AL Kasars and Condado will not move forward and develop into something that we all want. If this isnt the case then can you please answers the questions in the previous post a week ago
