Maria de Castro was recommended to us by eyeonspain.com where she has been praised many times for her helpful and professional advice and services.  We had bought off-plan in the Costa Almeria area but discovered that the developer was in breach of contract and we felt that our original lawyers could, or would, not help us cancel our contract. We contacted Maria and found her to be very professional, but with a personal touch.  She certainly knows Spanish Consumer Law extremely well and was able to negotiate the return of our deposit within a reasonably short space of time.  If anyone finds themselves needing a totally independent Spanish lawyer, look no further than Maria and her excellent team.

Hi Paul

First of all, many thanks for the photos and for your info about communal areas etc.

We have just looked at our site map of Phase 2 which shows the numbers of each block.  From the site map, it looks as if block 39 is to the right of block 38.  If we are correct, it looks from your photos as if our windows are in, although there still seems quite a lot of work to be done.

We are in block 39, so will be neighbours.

Hi Jay

We are in Block 39, Phase 2.  We were told by our solicitor last week that the paperwork, including Licence of First Occupation SHOULD be ready by the end of August.  However, reading other threads, it would seem more likely for our Block to complete in October(ish) as there still seems to be a fair bit of work to be done yet.

We have not been given confirmation of an inspection date, although we did receive an estimated date of early July.  The rule of thumb seems to be completion occurs 4 to 6 weeks after inspection.  We will see!

Hi

We are in Block 39 and have had no news as to confirmation of inspection dates or completion.  Reading other threads, there seems to be some confusion on whether it is going to be September, October, November or even December, but no-one has said what year!!!

We have tried to contact Key Mare on several occasions over the last few weeks, but get conflicting information.  It depends on who you speak to as to what answer you are given.

No doubt it will all come together in due course.
