Dear owner.

We hereby inform you of the current situation of the ITV channel.

This channel has just changed the broadcast format from the classic 4:3 to the panoramic 16:9.

So, ENJOY TELECOM, your telecom maintenance company, is now updating the system and installing the necessary new board and elements in the central TV installations of Roda. It will take a few days.

We regret any inconvenience they may cause this update of the TV system, ENJOY hope to have them completed soon.

I wish Teleast were as up-to-date and forthcoming!! If they had told me this then I would understand, but I ask for a call back and it never comes!

I have been in contact with them every day since Monday this week (going into the office twice) telling them there was something wrong with the picture and I have been continually fobbed off. Once again, I was told today that it would be seen to today. Why don't I believe them?

I was told this morning that someone else came into the office today so I live in hope that TWO complaints means that it will be sorted.

Unfortunately, I go home otmorrow so can't chase them upo any more but I have NEVER had such bad service from them.

Needless to say, Resortalia will be hearing from me - so much for their re-negotiated contract!

hugh_man - forget the Corrie (although seeing only half a face is confusing) try watching 'Millionnaire' (last Sunday) with all the multiple-choice questions missing from the bottom of the screen. It became too confusing in the end .....

I m afraid Teleast customer service not up to much. Make sure you cc in your Community President and Entidad to any comments made to Resortalia

The little note from Teleeast  - did it go to all owners?  to Resortalia ? to the Presidents and Vice Presidents?

Let's hope Resortalia ensure we get what we are paying for!    I will be writing to Resortalia and the President - thanks for the heads up on this one

The note I posted was sent by Resortalia and I am assuming to all owners they have email address for, did you receive a note yourself?

As far as I can see the ITV picture seems ok now. after a week

 

What is more confusing is that those owners who have ordered Internet and Phone under the agreement reached are now being told they cannot have them until Teleast uses the fibre optic system rather than putting more aerials up on roof terraces. It is not clear that those with existing aerials and internet will have them removed once fibre optics are working correcty.

 

I m still awaiting clarification from Resortalia as we on P12 have received complaints from both those wanting internet and those protesting about all the aerials appearing. I am unsure why an agreement was reached without working out the logistics of supplying broadband etc.

No, didn't receive anything from Resortalia about this situation.

 

So, I am a little confused - we can't have wifi internet unless Teleast use our existing method of supply for TV or phone?  and we can't have a wifi supply unless we have an external receiver for the signal which is then channelled down via a wire to a router in each apartment (this is how it works at our other place where we do have wifi) and from what you are saying some owners are objecting to the little white receiver boxes? 

As you say - poor planning on someone's part!
