CHARGED TWICE

I have just seen on my bank statement that the water company have charged me twice for connection fees. Any help on how to sort this out ? My Spanish is rubbish so no hope of me calling them…

if you go in your spanish bank and tell them to bring your statements up and show them that its gone out twice, they will take the money  back for you. cambank did it for me. hope it helps

Or try ringing them, most of these utility companies have someone who can speak english.

Yes I had a similar problem when RPM debited my account twice and the bank recalled the payment and repaid the money back to my account instantly. I was very impressed with the banks action.

I know with cambank you can actually recall it yourself if you use the internet banking.

Needs to be done within a certain time frame of the payment being taken.  Its a very good option as I had problems with Iberdrola for awhile taking 2 payments.

Ring them, just ask for " English please" or "English por favor". You will be put onto a English speaker, no problems and very helpful. Have the account number handy.
